Welcome to Slave Descendants Freedom Society, Inc. (SDFS). We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to continuing the freedom efforts started by our enslaved African-American ancestors.
Slave Descendants Freedom Society's mission is to help descendants of the enslaved ancestors in America and others reconnect with their ancestral heritage and gain a new mental, spiritual and physical freedom perspective. By helping people regain their freedom and take it to the next level, we hope to begin promoting a racial healing process within the American society and identify all people, regardless of their race or color, who helped in the freedom fight for our enslaved ancestors.
We promote and encourage an open dialogue among the younger and older generations about our ancestral history that is not taught in the educational classrooms today. As a lasting tribute to our ancestral heroes, Slave Descendants Freedom Society will help honor the unrecognized labor contributions that our enslaved ancestors made to the building of the United States of America by establishing memorial projects commemorating their efforts.
